How to Join MACS Membership is open to college stores directly engaged in retail sales of books, supplies, and/or other merchandise necessary to students and faculties of educational institutions; individuals and/or firms who sell merchandise to those stores defined above; branch stores whose parent store is already a member may become full members upon payment of regular annual dues. For this fiscal year (January 1 - December 31), annual dues are $100.00.
In summary, you are eligible to join MACS if you are:

A college store - institutional, private, or contract managed
•
A branch store
•
An individual or a firm who wishes to supply the college market
Buying Shows - A buying show is held at the Annual Fall meeting.

Educational Programs - Bonus sessions are often held prior to the Fall meeting to help educate and motivate our members. Mini-Nars are held each summer in 4 convenient locations throughout the Middle Atlantic area. In addition, general education and break-out sessions on a variety of timely subjects are held at the Fall meeting.

Newsletter - A comprehensive newsletter is sent to all active members a minimum of three times per year.
•
Networking - MACS features unique opportunities to share ideas and experiences with our peers.
•
Directory - An annual membership directory of bookstore and vendor members is available on the website to all dues-paying members.
Extra incentives for joining MACS include:

Financial Aid - Funds are available to help send members to meetings and educational sessions sponsored by MACS. Contact the MACS President for details.

Professional Development - Opportunities for enhancing one's professional development through contacts with members, meetings, use of directory are available through active participation in MACS.
